Haumann talks of retirement
Cologne - The mood will be resolved once FC boss Wolfgang Overath meet on Monday with the powerful Board of Directors. The kick-off victory at FC St. Pauli has come to the club until time to rest.
"There are no spectacular things to expect," said on Sunday the Board Chief Executive Helmut Haumann EXPRESS. So far, so good. Michael Meier and CFO Claus Horstmann must report to the Panel report on the sporting and economic situation.
Even more interesting is that which is not even on the agenda, but probably under the item "other matters" could be discussed.
In November, the meeting is imminent. It is said that the Board wanted to replace four critical members of the Board. Among other things, Haumann, which is no longer in business operations is the energy rheinsichen Riese RheinEnergie operate.
The former top manager sees a possible replacement calmly. "To me is from FC board, no one approached," Haumann said on Sunday. A retreat he would not be ruled out. "Of course I'm currently thinking about whether I keep going. Maybe I will listen to it voluntarily. But nothing is decided. "
Even the most critical of Cologne Fritz Guckuk entrepreneur who sits on the committee since 1998 and the FC fans is popular, the Board will be an eyesore. But excludes a voluntary severance. "I'm not going to plonk down on my own. I wish the club continued critical, but helpful at your side. "
On the future of Chief Financial Officer Horstmann, there is agreement on the Executive Board and the Board, however. The manager, whose Contract expires in 2008, should be held with all Miteln. This is however not so simple. Horstmann exist inquiries from the private sector.
